About this event
Between headline-grabbing shift in hiring, changing entry-level roles, and the sudden rise of genAI tool integration into the workplace, breaking into the workforce can feel uniquely daunting right now.
Join us to hear from recent UC Davis alumni about thier path from degree to first job, how their day-to-day workflows are changing with emerging tech integrations, and what strategies they use to continue to succeed. From breaking through crowded applicant pools to adapting to workplaces re-shaped by emerging tech, our speakers share their stories on what it really takes to launch and build careers in data, software, analytics, data science and other fields today in industry, government and academia. Discover current opportunities at the alumni's workplaces, UC Davis, and beyond to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience.
Bring your questions to ask our alumni after the hosted interview. Stick around after the session for refreshments and networking.
For those who are unable to attend in person, register for a Zoom link to listen in.
