UC Davis graduates Diosa De Guzman and Arham Farooqui have opened Eiar Studio and the Pink House Cafe downtown to offer a vegan venue with unique drinks, hand poured candles, and a welcoming study space; the owners plan to expand their menu with vegan pastries soon.

On Jan. 17, the Aggies held their season's first doubleheader by playing SCU at 10:30 a.m. and FPU at 2:30 p.m., losing 4-1 to SCU and winning 4-0 over FPU, which left them with a 1-1 record.
