EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Assistant Professor Isaac Kim received a Sloan Research Fellowship on Feb. 17 (a two-year, $75,000 award) to study quantum entanglement and help develop quantum computers. UC Davis
- ➤ UC Davis employees making digital content must meet new accessibility guidelines from the ADA and Rehabilitation Act starting in April and May — a March 11 training and weekly virtual office hours at 1 p.m. are available for support. UC Davis
- ➤ UC Davis announced several leadership changes. Biological Sciences associate dean Michele Igo will retire this June after 36 years, while Samantha Lu becomes Global Affairs director on Feb. 23 + Woutrina Smith is named One Health Institute executive director; Robert Collins takes on a key role in the Veterinary Medical Complex effective March 1.
