UC Davis received a *$120 million* gift from Joan and Sanford I.
Weill to rename its Veterinary School and boost cross-campus research on animal and human health. A campus campaign, *From Labs to Lives*, will celebrate its first anniversary on Feb. 25 with a web and social media takeover.
UC Davis will close its four IET Open Access computer labs in June and replace them with an expanded Virtual Computer Lab Pilot to offer anytime online access to needed software.
On-campus classrooms and printing services will remain available for students and affiliates.
Shields Library updated three reservable study rooms with campus-themed decorations, including the Arboretum, Egghead, and Bicycle Rooms.
