EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ UC Davis received a record 122,271 undergraduate applications for fall 2026 + including a record number of California residents, with first-year and transfer numbers up from last year. - ➤ On Feb. 18 at UC Davis' Vanderhoef Studio Theatre, two visiting economists debated federal funding for research during the Chancellor’s Colloquium Distinguished Speaker Series; audience votes shifted from 77% to 54% support for one view.
