Hillel at Davis raised nearly $340K at its annual Western-themed benefit on Sunday, March 8 (228 attendees, including over 25 dignitaries with UC Davis Chancellor Gary present).
A UC Davis study found managed wetlands in Suisun Marsh produce 11 to 22 times more zooplankton than tidal habitats, meaning that controlled seasonal floods may boost fish food; researchers will test strategies this summer to link these areas plus help feed fish.
