Tracy Fauver, Executive Director of Davis Community Meals and Housing, is raising $100,000 for programs that help vulnerable residents as part of the Big Day of Giving on May 1.

She said support for services like transitional housing and cleaning H Street—where community members show care—will help change how homelessness is seen in Davis.

Davis police are investigating a burglary at Willett Elementary School (where electronics were stolen) after a report was filed (investigation ongoing).

The Emerson Junior High PTA announced it awarded $2,694 in spring teacher grants—intended to support teachers and improve learning on campus.

Davis city officials are preparing to adopt the 2025–2029 HUD Consolidated Plan and Year One Annual Action Plan to spend $1.06 million in federal funds on affordable housing, homelessness, and economic opportunity.

A public hearing will be held on April 15 so the Council can review the plan before it is sent to HUD by May 15 and final funding contracts are set after the FY 2026–27 budget is adopted.
