ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ UC Davis researchers are developing in-field sanitation guidelines for tomato harvesters to stop the spread of branched broomrape, a parasitic weed that reduces crop yields. The processing tomato industry agreed to cleaning standards in 2024 & is testing prototypes to shorten equipment cleaning times ahead of harvest. UC Davis
