UC Davis' 112th Picnic Day (titled 'Journey Home: Destination Davis') returns Saturday, Apr.
18 with a parade from North Quad, themed campus activities, and a smaller event at A Street Intramural Field. Extended transit service and standard safety measures support over 200 planned activities.
🌲 Environment
UC Davis researchers are developing in-field sanitation guidelines for tomato harvesters to stop the spread of branched broomrape, a parasitic weed that reduces crop yields.
The processing tomato industry agreed to cleaning standards in 2024 & is testing prototypes to shorten equipment cleaning times ahead of harvest.

The Aggie Polo Club made history by playing polo for the first time on campus at the UC Davis Equestrian Center.
The match took place under the arena cover and brought a fresh twist to our club sports.
