🚨 Crime
Attorney Alexandra Cock uncovered official misconduct, proof issues, and racial bias in Chief Douglas Stankewitz’s trial—he has been in prison for nearly 50 years.
His legal team will ask for a new sentencing hearing and file two Racial Justice Act motions to seek his freedom.
A Yolo County court denied a motion to reduce charges against an individual facing felony drug possession, unlawful possession of tear gas and paraphernalia and providing false identification—he was released on supervised own recognizance pending placement in a treatment facility with a hearing scheduled for May 14 at 9 a.m.
