The annual Davis Art Studio Tour (featuring over 40 local artists, including UC Davis students and alumni) begins today and continues tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. across Davis, offering the public a glimpse into creative studios.

Researchers at UC Davis are studying queen bumblebees to see how they learn flower scents faster than worker bees, which could help protect native pollination.

Their study, published May 13 (in Proceedings of the Royal Society B), sheds light on bee cognition and supports conservation efforts.
