Woodland Regional Park Preserve celebrated its grand opening on Saturday after years of hard work—local officials said the new space will offer Davis residents a safe outdoor area.

Carlos Reales Dominguez’s trial continued Monday as his father, sister, and ex-girlfriend testified to his weight loss, withdrawal, and behavior changes that preceded the alleged April stabbings—charges that include two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder with enhancements for using a deadly knife—and the trial will resume today at 9:30 a.m.

Carlos Dominguez’s father testified at Yolo County Superior Court that his son—facing multiple murder charges—had shown significant changes in behavior and hygiene since 2021 that he believed were due to school stress or drug use, and cross-examination is scheduled today at 1:30 p.m.
