- ➤ Davis Rabbi Jeremy Simons will hold a community vigil today at 6:00 p.m. to honor Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky—two young diplomats fatally shot in a targeted antisemitic attack in Washington, D.C. Davis Vanguard
- ➤ Carlos Reales Dominguez is on trial for murder and attempted murder in Yolo County Superior Court as a former UC Davis instructor testified today that his class behavior was concerning—he wore a hood with his face mask up and submitted work under a false name. - ➤ UC Davis baseball played CSU Fullerton at Dobbins Stadium from April 25 to 27 and lost the series in three games with scores of 2-1, 2-0 and 8-5 — with pitchers Bryan Green and Tyler Wood noted for strong efforts — as the Aggies struggled to turn hits into wins. The California Aggie
- ➤ UC Davis Athletics completed a very successful Give Day event on April 11th and 12th by raising over $400,000 through donor challenges among its teams — with the football team raising nearly $85,000. Athletics Director Rocko DeLuca said the funds supported athletic programs and will drive improvements for future competitions. The California Aggie
- ➤ On April 19, the UC Davis men’s soccer team played its first night game under a new $4.4 million lighting upgrade that installed four 100-foot poles at the soccer field and eight 80-foot poles at the baseball complex—it helped fans avoid the heat and gave players more energy. The team improved its win record with key player Luke Goodman returning on May 3 and then played its final spring night game against Stanford on May 17 at 7 p.m. The California Aggie
