College Track and UCD teamed up to boost college access for local students.
The partnership was announced today and is set to support programs that help more students prepare for college.
The UC Davis College of Engineering held its annual Engineering Design Showcase on Thursday, June 4 at the University Credit Union Center (featuring a record number of student projects) and welcomed students, faculty, alumni and industry professionals.
The University of California is pushing for a $12 billion state bond to fund scientific research at local universities and institutes if voters approve it on the November ballot.
The bond comes after Senate approval and must be signed by Gov. Newsom by June 25 to counter federal funding cuts.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture confirmed a case of New World screwworm in a three-week-old calf in Zavala County, Texas, and UC Davis veterinarians are on standby to answer media questions on detection, treatment, and prevention for livestock & wildlife.
They offer guidance on protecting animal health and food safety.
