- ➤ A jury in Woodland found Carlos Reales Dominguez not guilty of two counts of first-degree murder—after long deliberations—and declared a mistrial on the other charges, setting a new trial for July 24 as he remains in custody facing multiple charges. Davis Vanguard
- ➤ On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Judge Mock of Yolo County Superior Court denied a request for residential drug treatment for a repeat offender after previous supervision failed—he instead set bail totaling $50,000 and kept the accused in custody on charges of drug possession, destruction of evidence and drug paraphernalia. - ➤ Caltrans has announced a new lane will open on westbound I-80 in Yolo County as part of a $280 million pavement project along Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 50. Motorists are urged to follow updated signage as work continues. The Davis Enterprise
- ➤ Today, the City of Davis made changes to the Respite Center after community members (from Davis Manor, Huntwood, and Old East Davis) raised concerns about safety and neighborhood impact during a March 2 meeting and January survey.
