🎓 Education
Andreas Albrecht, a distinguished UC Davis professor emeritus, embraced cosmology after initially seeking particle physics guidance and later co-developed slow roll inflation with Paul Steinhardt in 1982.
He continues to inspire and educate through innovative research that connects precision science with broader academic disciplines (including history, art, and music).
UC Davis is upgrading the Chancellor's Residence with new heating and cooling systems + modern all-electric upgrades to boost energy efficiency and security.
Work began mid-June and will finish by mid-September to ensure the building safely serves both its residential and official functions.
