The city will honor America’s 250th birthday with a Fourth of July celebration (marking the historic milestone) at Community Park on Saturday, July 4.

Residents can join the annual event as a long-time community tradition.

The ceremony celebrated a key milestone for adult learners in the community.

UC Davis researchers received a grant of nearly ($4 million) from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences to develop the first standardized method for measuring airborne nanoplastic neurotoxicity.

Their study will focus on how these tiny pollutants released during everyday wear and tear may impact health.
