On August 19, Davis City Council voted 4—0 to appoint Daryel Dunston as the new city manager of Davis.
Dunston will start his job soon following the unanimous vote.
The Davis Fire Department completed its indoctrination academy last Friday and welcomed three new firefighters—Ryan Porter, James Herrick, and Tyler Sung—to its team.
