A traveling exhibition of nearly 90 works by photographer David Bacon opens tomorrow at the Peter J.

Shields Library—showcasing the resilience of California farmworkers and marking the 60th anniversary of the 1965 strike. The exhibition will run until Dec. 14 and is organized by the UC Davis Labor and Community Center.

On Wednesday, the Davis Planning Commission met to discuss the city’s General Plan update for land use and community design — they reviewed ideas to bridge gaps in current planning.

Additional details on implementation steps are expected to follow.
