- ➤ Today, UC Davis starts its 2025 wine-grape harvest as students and researchers work in vineyards and labs to produce student-made wines and test new methods for drought-resistant and disease-free grapes—Hilgard631 sales will fund student scholarships. UC Davis
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A UC Davis study shows that warming and extra nutrients from runoff will change the fuzzy algae on Lake Tahoe rocks in different seasons. Lab tests revealed that algae grow faster with slight winter warming and more nutrients in the fall—these findings may guide lake managers in planning for future water quality issues. UC Davis
