  • The Davis Joint Unified School District is holding meetings on potential school closures and redrawn boundaries for the 2028-29 school year — Davis voters will decide enrollment based on these proposals.  The Davis Enterprise

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Valley Clean Energy (serving Woodland, Winters, Davis and unincorporated Yolo County) announced Thursday it received an A-minus long-term issuer credit rating from S&P, a development that may boost its ability to borrow funds in the future.  The Davis Enterprise

  • A UC Davis student said vaping and smoking break the ice and help relax after a long day—other students shared that these habits combat boredom and add routine even though serious health risks exist.   • On Oct. 4, UC Davis women’s volleyball beat UC Irvine 3—1 on their home court, marking their fifth win in a row and keeping a 4—0 record in Big West play. The Aggies showed strong plays from key players as they remain undefeated in conference play.  The California Aggie
