- ➤ UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May has named Aisha Jackson as the university’s first chief information and digital strategy executive (CIDSE) and she will begin her two-year term on Dec. 1 to lead IT integration across campus. Jackson will guide the development of a unified governance framework to address growing cybersecurity and AI challenges. UC Davis
- ➤ DJUSD faces a projected loss of 1,000 students over the next decade and will hold three community outreach meetings starting November 3 to discuss two school closure plans—one that involves closing Patwin Elementary and a broader plan that also affects Birch Lane Elementary.
